A vigil was held on the 2nd September 2022 outside the Scottish Parliament in remembrance of Fawziyah Javed who tragically died the year before. Fawziyah's family and loved ones were in attendance, as well as women's groups from across the UK including MWNUK.

Yasmin Javed (Fawziyah's mother) courageously spoke out to the crowd to remind them of Fawziyah's inspiring life, her achievements and hopes for the future.
