When I say Apocalypse, you probably think of the end of the world, right? Or maybe Apocalypse Now? Or possibly even the Apocalypse of John from the Bible? Apocalypse is actually a genre of writing (which John belongs to) and the word "Apocalypsis" from Greek means Revelation - not just any kind of Revelation, but a revealing of information by an otherworldly being.

If we take the above definition of Revelation by an Otherwordly Being, I'm willing to bet most of us have had this kind of contact, whether in dreams, in entheogenic experience, or in some other form of ritual practice or meditation. These Beings have shared information with us, gave us insights, maybe even gave us a tour of some unearthly landscape.
