In the year 1923, Walt Disney and his brother, Roy O. Disney, created their studio, "Disney Brothers Studio" to produce and make films after the bankruptcy of Laugh-O-Gram Studio.

They later formed Walt Disney Productions in 1934 to create the very first animated feature film, Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs. With RKO Radio Pictures distributing the film.

In 1983, the current day Walt Disney Pictures was formed as part of corporate restructuring and to diversify film subjects and expand audiences for their film releases. Creating Touchstone Pictures a year later for PG-13 and R-rated films.

As of 2023, Walt Disney Pictures is owned by Walt Disney Studios through the newly created, Disney Entertainment company after Bob Chapek was dismissed as CEO due to controversy.

Throughout the 100 years Disney's been around, there have been 3 versions of the famous theme, "When You Wish Upon a Star" used in Disney's opening logos with one logo using a completely different theme. We'll be taking a look at all 4 themes today. Alongside the respective audio variations.
