Lenn Redman is an experienced caricature artist who clearly has honed his talent over decades. While this book was published in 1984, much of the material is about actors, politicians, and styles from decades earlier than this. That's all right. The tips for doing caricatures remain the same.

Lenn assumes you already know the basics of sketching faces - there are plenty of books which step a beginner through that. He talks about selecting a pose, choosing which items to exaggerate, and developing your style. Most of the book is about the face, but he does touch on doing full-body caricatures and 'hobby based' drawings. He even has a few page of nude caricatures.

There are LOTS of facial examples from people of a wide variety of skin tones and styles, which I found quite refreshing in a book written in this older timeframe.
