"based on a true story" got the green light for another season on october 12, 2023! it's fantastic news, right? however, we'll have to hang tight a bit longer for the next batch of episodes. unfortunately, filming for season two hit a snag due to those pesky sag aftra strikes. so, while we're eagerly waiting, peacock hasn't given us a definite timeline or release date just yet. but hey, on the bright side, we can look forward to seeing ava (played by the amazing kaley cuoco) and her hubby nathan (portrayed by the talented chris Messina) dive into another thrilling true crime adventure when everything's sorted out!
