How we deep-poured our custom honed epoxy resin table top using Z Counterforms Countertop Expoy Resin and their countertop forms!

When we got our hands on an amazing set of industrial metal table legs, we knew that we needed a table top that would both compliment AND enhance the look and feel that they already had. Initially we thought that glass would be the way to go- but because this table was going to live in our studio space, we needed something a little less fragile (and ideally a little chunkier as well). Eventually we landed on epoxy resin (Ultra Z Poxy - Deep Pour Casting Resin), a two part, crystal clear epoxy that is both UV resistant and has anti-yellowing properties. Also, because Deep Pour Casting Resin has a low VOC content, it’s safer to use and has a reduced environmental impact. Pretty quickly, we knew we’d made the right choice.
