On September 13, 2022, IITGN hosted Shri Ashwini Vaishnaw, Hon’ble Union Minister of Railways, Communications, Electronics & Information Technology, Government of India, to its campus. Upon his arrival, Shri Vaishnaw, along with Prof Amit Prashant, Officiating Director, IIT Gandhinagar and other dignitaries, visited the newly-built IIT Gandhinagar Research Park (RP), wherein he saw the unique products and innovations developed by the start-ups and RP industry partners, and also interacted with them. Later, through an electrifying dialogue with the students and community on “Innovate and Inspire: an interactive session on entrepreneurship and innovation”, Shri Vaishnaw filled the auditorium with an outstanding level of energy and enthusiasm.
