The genesis for this project started as a companion piece to Beth + Matthew + Pondwater which showcased featured performers Beth Marquez and Matthew Mars at the artistic space Pondwater. That night there was an open reading with some notable poets as well. I decided that should be on it's own video compilation, which would also include outtakes. However, then I took it a step further and collected many of my favorite video and photos from a decade of Pondwater. This is a personal scrapbook that only includes video I was featured in or shot. Lots of music. good times and good vibes. No one that has ever gone to Pondwater has come out disliking the experience. It is an organically, magical, place and a rarity in the often limited and stiffly regulated Spoken Word venue system. Pondwater, in other words is always a party. You meet friends there. You make friends there. The talent is always Top Notch.
