The Golden Age of Television may be gone, but the stars of the small screen still went home golden at the Emmys Sunday night.
“Game of Thrones” won the night with a total of 12 awards, including outstanding drama series and supporting actor in a drama (Peter Dinklage), followed closely by “Chernobyl” (10) and “The Marvelous Mrs. Maisel” (8).
“Fleabag,” from Phoebe Waller-Bridge, may have been the surprise of the night with wins for lead actress in a comedy and outstanding comedy, beating out fan-favorite “Veep.”
