It’s no secret love Godzilla, but I’ll admit I did t expect Godzilla Minus One to easily clear my top 10 of 2023 (it is SUCH a stacked year) much less potentially dethrone Shin Godzilla, Godzilla (1954) and Godzilla King of the Monsters as my favorite of all TIME!

It doesn’t have a Green Day track, a Puff Daddy / Diddy track, nor do Mathew Broderick or Hank Azaria appear but it does have EVERYTHING ELSE. Heart, passion, awe, wonder, tension, passion, and sweet beautiful themes and commentaries. THIS is how you make a blockbuster (and for an insanely low budget) take note Hollywood. So many notes.
