In September 2018 I married my crazy Irish man. As a surprise to Tone, his family and friends (and mine for that matter) my bridesmaids and I performed an Irish dance to thank them for coming over to the UK for the wedding and welcoming me into their family. We spent 6 months learning the dance (no mean feat considering none of us had ever done Irish dancing before!)
I chose the song because I love Ed Sheeran, Tone is from Wexford which obviously features heavily in the song (and inspired the idea) and to top it off we briefly meet Ed backstage at Glastonbury just after getting engaged that day. When I say met, we were stood by the exit from the Pyramid Stage and Tone shouted that we'd just got engaged as he walked past and he very kindly turned around, came over, shook our hands and congratulated us. Naturally this left me in a state of shock for about an hour :D
