Harvard Engineers Without Borders: Recent Projects

Published On Premiered Dec 19, 2023

Harvard Engineers Without Borders is both a student organization and an associated class, ES105HFR: Humanitarian Design Projects. They are a diverse group of engineers, scientists, and humanities majors. Students are encouraged to take multiple semesters of the course, which meets twice a week and is taught by Chris Lombardo, Associate Director of Undergraduate Studies in Electrical Engineering and Mechanical Engineering at Harvard John A. Paulson School of Engineering of Applied Sciences.

Students Molly Bosworth, Giovan McKnight, Sophia Perez Casillas, and Layla Seaver share their experiences with some of the club's recent projects in the Dominican Republic and Kenya.
