This is the music video for the song "Breakout" by Japanese band Supersnazz.

The video of this upload comes from an untitled promo tape released by Sub Pop to promote the "Sub Pop Video Network Program II" VHS released in 1993. The audio comes from a lossless rip of Supersnazz's "Superstupid!" CD, properly synced.

Supersnazz is Michi Spike on vocals, Kanako Michiki on guitar, Tomoko Butane on bass and Skinnie Minnie on drums.

"The band name was decided [in 1990] as THE LONG HAIRS after SKINNIE MINNIE got the idea from [manga series] 'Star of the Giants' [『巨人の星』]. Translated as『ザ・ロン毛』.

(...)

After that, the band name was changed to SUPERSNAZZ based on TOMOKO's idea. 'I took it from the title of my favorite FLAMIN' GROOVIES album. At the time, I convinced the [band] members by saying: This one seems to sound more punchy!'"
