DAFT PUNK vs THE DOOBIE BROTHERS Get lucky the long train running (official 2013).

"Get Lucky" is a song by French house music duo Daft Punk, featuring Pharrell Williams and co-written with Nile Rodgers. It is the lead single from Daft Punk's fourth studio album Random Access Memories. Musically, "Get Lucky" is a disco song while lyrically, according to Pharrell Williams, the song is about the fortune of connecting with someone and not just about sexual chemistry. "Get Lucky" has since received acclaim from critics and was commercially successful, reaching the top ten in the music charts of over 32 countries. "Get Lucky" was completed over the course of approximately 18 months. "Get Lucky" was first publicly revealed via two 15-second television advertisements on Saturday Night Live.

"Long Train Runnin'" (or "Long Train Running") is a song written by musician Tom Johnston and recorded by The Doobie Brothers. It was included on the band's 1973 album The Captain and Me and released as a single, becoming a top-ten hit on the US Billboard Hot 100, peaking at number 8. This song became very famous for its intro with the guitar. Nearly 20 years later, "Long Train Runnin'" became a hit in the UK twice. In 1991, the song was covered by English girl group Bananarama, and in 1993, the Doobie Brothers version was remixed and hit the top 10.
