Susanna de Chenonceau, M.Ed, gives action items for Juniors in January 2021:
-If you have not yet applied to college, go to https://commonapp.org and schedule a meeting with your high school counselor to find colleges still accepting applications at this time.
-If you have already applied, keep your grades up! Set a schedule for yourself, sit at your desk, and take care of your health to stay on track even during online school.
-Work with your school counselor to send mid-year reports in February and maybe final year reports in June.
-If you were deferred, reach out to the college to thank them for the deferral and give them any updates on activities, awards, leadership, etc.
-Check the portals for every college you applied to to make sure they received everything.
