HIYA! Here is a restored TV recording of a small report of Japanese visual-kei rock band MALICE MIZER's live on 17 November, 1996 at the student's festival at the Mejiro University Junior College (目白 大学). You can see some live clips of the songs "Madrigal", "Uruwashiki Kamen no Shoutaijou" / "麗しき仮面の招待状", and "ma chérie ～愛しい君へ～". There is also an interview with vocalist Gackt.

After a lot of work, most of it scene-by-scene, I present to you my restoration of this old TV recording, in 4K 60FPS. It still looks bad in some places, but please do know that most TV recordings of that time are almost unbearable to watch.

Also, this particular video had some kind of bizarre and annoying horizontal-white-lines filter over it which was very difficult to work around... Especially at some moments where the lighting was darker. Sadly, I did not succeed in completely removing it, but its effect is much more insignificant now.

From what I understand, and read on-line, only women attended/attend this college, hence why this clip is famously called the "Woman College" live.

This broadcast also informs us that their 1997.01.10 "～Sans retour Voyage “derniere”～" live concert was already sold out. Pretty impressive.
