Scranton Pennsylvania has been well known for Steamtown, but it's also well known for the large amount of ALCO's that roam around the Delaware Lackawanna Railroad, giving Scranton the nickname of ALCO Heaven. Aside from the DL, the NS/CP runs through to Binghamton NY, the Reading and Northern is nearby, and Steamtown also offers many unique displays and their steam train ride. Our main focus of this visit was the Delaware Lackawanna and their operations in the area.
