Gabby gets up for a stretch and moves to the Wallenda branch for a quick preen, and then she's back to the nest. A little under an hour later she goes out for a quick fly about and she's back. A couple of hours later something gets her attention and she goes to the Wallenda branch vocalizing. She flies off after a quick rouse and then I think it's Beau that flies in right after that. He stays a short time and flies out. Gabby arrives to the nest shortly after that. She stays about an hour and then leaves again, but comes right back. Over the nest few hours she's in and out five times, until Beau arrives on the Wallenda branch mid afternoon. She moves to the lookout branch and leaves a few minutes later. Beau leaves a few minutes after that. Gabby (I think) comes right back to the nest, pit stops at the lookout branch, and then is back out. She's back pretty quickly and stays until Beau arrives on the Wallenda branch. Gabby gets up for a rouse and moves to the lookout branch. She flies out after a bit of preening and Beau follows. About 2.5 hours later something has Gabby's attention and she seems to be in defensive mode on the nest. The cam pans all around to see what's got her interest, and then we see a juvenile Bald eagle (or maybe a sub-adult) perched. It stays several minutes while Gabby vocalizes, and then we see Beau has arrived at the nest. It flies off right after that. Beau stays at the nest several minutes keeping guard and looking around, and then he flies out. Gabby stays with NE29 the rest of the night.
