The challenged of photography at the Grand Canyon is it's so hard to find scale in the landscape.

After shooting some Instagram-esque landscape photography at Monument Valley, we headed down the highway towards the Grand Canyon.
Photography at the Grand Canyon should be on everyone's bucket list. But, spoiler, it's hard. It's just really difficult to give scale to the photos when shooting here. It's just so massive and such a huge expanse that it's hard to shoot good images that show just how big it really is. I do, however, in this episode try to give some landscape photography tips.
We found a cool sunset spot at the Grand Canyon after location searching for a while. At Navajo Point, we set up the tripods and got some images knocked out. The landscape there was stunning, and it actually made for the best photo spot in the Grand Canyon because we were able to take pictures in both directions and got a couple really cool pictures. I was quite happy.
The sunset landscape photography session was the perfect way to end a day of exploring the Grand Canyon area. And, really, this is one of the last shoots on this US Southwest road trip which has been amazing.
We'll be back at the Grand Canyon again in the morning for sunrise on tomorrow's episode of the photography channel.
