Eric Dickerson had run roughshod over the league as a Ram, looking to be well on his way to a 20K yard career in LA as the greatest tailback ever. However, Dickerson wore out his welcome in the city of angels, and was shipped to Indianapolis in a blockbuster trade in 1987. Dickerson was dominant during his first couple of years, leading the Colts to winning records in two of his first three years with the club (and a 8-8 year in the third). Prior to Dickerson's arrival, the Colts had been the laughingstock of the league. Injuries derailed his career after 1989, and Dickerson ended his career as a transcendent talent who didn't quite live up to his early career hype. However, for the first few years in Indianapolis, Dickerson displayed the vision, speed, and agility that made him the best running back of the 1980's.

Every video clip in this video is property of the NFL. I'm just a guy who enjoys making highlight videos, so please don't take this down.

The footage found in this video was found in the Colt Yearbook videos from NFL Films. The song is called "Plastic Love," and it seems to be a popular choice among the Vaporwave/Weeb community (those two terms seem somewhat interchangeable).
