Canción Sin Miedo is a resistance song by Mexican singer and composer Vivir Quintana. The song, released in 2020, has quickly become a feminist hymn against gender violence and femicide. Lead by Susana Fergusson, a group of a women from Bogotá, performed a cover of this song in honour of Susana's daughter who has committed suicide at the age of 19, after years of abuse by her own father. The lyrics, the music and the dance shed light on a subject that has been silenced for many years, taking sexual abuse out of the closet. "May the femicide fall hard" and may we never again accept any form of abuse or violence towards woman.
