Storm & Spring are making huge leaps and bounds with longer flights exploring further away from the nesting habitat. Aerial acrobatics along with talon trotting on branches will help them as they eventually venture out on their own.

Mom was home at first light. Just after dad delivered a fish at 5:42 am, she departed for the lake. Both kids made it to the nest to eat. Dad delivered another fish to the nest around 7 am. He waited in the nest for a long while before he departed for the lake, leaving the fish untouched in the nest. Neither juvenile flew to the nest to eat. They must have been full from the earlier meal.
Dad returned to the family tree a bit later with both kids still frolicking around. One fledgling then flew to the nest. Dad picked up the fish with his beak and departed. He transferred the fish from his beak to his talons and delivered the fish to the kid waiting in the nest. That maneuver always fascinates me to watch. Such talent. The other juvenile eventually flew to the nest to feast with sibling.
After break'fish' one of the kids flew to the shoreline trail soaring for over 6 minutes before returning.
