Deployable structures can expand and contract due to their geometrical arrangement and mechanical joinery in such a way that they can adapt to different usages. They can fold, reduce in size and fit into a limited space when not in use; when required, these structures, can be deployed to serve its intended purpose.

In the final phase of the studio, the idea was to create sun shading structure that inhibit the solar radiation and can be used externally or in between the internal and the external building space. sun shading devices improve internal environment in order to provide greater comfort for occupants. Also, to use the same solar radiation to create energy that can be used to lit up the wall lamps at night, and making the whole structure self sustaining and solar powered.
