Chord
A chord is a combination of three or more notes. Chords are built off of a single note, called the root. In this lesson, we will discuss triads. They are created with a root, third, and fifth.
A. GENERAL CHORDS
A Major Triad (Major Chord) is made up of a Major 3rd, and Perfect 5th.
We have 7 Chords
Chord 1, 2,3,4,5,6 and 7
We have 3 major Chords and 4 minor Chords
Major Chords are Chord 1,4 and 5
Minor Chords are 2,3,6 and 7
Analysis of the Chords

We use Fingering 1,3,5 for all the Chords from Chord 1 to Chord 7
For the Chords of Key G
We use to the following Fingerings
For Chord 1 and 2, we use fingering 1,3,5 for the both
For Chord 3 (m,s,t) in key G, we use fingering 1,2, 4
For Chords 4, 5 and 6, we use fingering 1, 3 , 5
For Chord 7, we use fingering
2, 3 5.
