Ait Ben Hadu (in Tamazight: ⴰⵢⵜ ⵃⴰⴷⴷⵓ, Ath Benhadu; is a "fortified city" or ksar. It is located in the province of Ouarzazate, in the Draa-Tafilalet region of Morocco.1 It extends along the Ounila River Most of the city's inhabitants live in the new town on the other side of the river, however, some families still live within the ksar.
