A 1.8 Kilometer Wide Impact Crater Formed 4,000 Years Ago; India's Luna Crater

Approximately 4,000 years ago, a powerful cataclysm struck the planet in a populated section of Bronze Age India. There, the largest asteroid impact in the last 10,000 years occurred, leaving behind a 1.8 kilometer wide and
496 meter deep crater in the ground. Known as Luna Crater, this feature has since been filled in with sediment and was not confirmed as an impact crater until only 3 months ago. This is the story of the Bronze Age cataclysm which formed the large Luna Impact Crater.
