As discussed in one of my previous videos,    • Video   , I'm a huge fan of the His Dark Materials book series. New Line attempted to make a movie of the first book in this series: the golden compass (or as the book is called in the UK - Northern Lights).

Due to cutting off the ending and reordering many of the events in the film, the film does not finished and generally has caused much dissapointment to fans. Which is a shame, as the film constantly feels like there is much potential.

This clip shows a rough video that I've edited together myself. This scene would be how lyra helps save the children and then lands in the hands of the panzer bajorn (sp?) or as the film calls them: ice bears. This is not how the order plays out in the final film, so if you've not read the book this maybe a little confusing.

This has been pieced together from the trailers, videos from the computer game, sound effects from the film, and the official soundtrack for the backing music. I've included a short intro and outro clip so people can grasp an understanding of where this scene might take place.
