I am giving an abreviated version of the 1979 album Mirrors, which didn't connect well with the fan base... and you can hear why, especially if you went first through Cultosaurus and Fire.
It's not a horrible album, but it is a rather unremarkable effort from a band that had so much more to offer. Yes, it was shaped and shaved and shoved into disco rags to appeal to a newer public, and it almost cost them their old public.
