I'll be honest, I'm on the fence about this one. I really like it for what it is, but I'm worried it's a bit too "niche".

You know that foreboding feeling where you can just tell a storm is on the way?

I love that feeling, so I wanted to try to capture it in a song.

Plus I've got a lot of really happy major key stuff in my catalogue, so I wanted one that was a little more haunting and mysterious.

And so Darkest Blue was born.

A couple cool things:
1) This is one of the few songs where I actually included a piano solo. I definitely tried to make it a little challenging just for an added bit of excitement!
2) A big part of this song is the vocal layering. By the end of the song I've got 24 vocal tracks all going at the same time!
