I think we can all agree that the flash has some of the most amazing powers in all of DC. Super speed and everything The Flash can do with it, is awesome! But when you give someone extremely special powers and special abilities you do run into some issues when story telling. So that's Why The Flash Is The True Victim Of Bad Writing...or at least The Flash is truely only as strong as the writers need him to be.
