Greetings! Welcome to the latest installment of our Europe Vlogs, this time featuring Part 16. I'm Nick Daniel Lichanos Cochrane and today, we arrived on the iconic Glacier Express train, an experience that truly took our breath away. Departing from Zermatt, we have now arrived in the picturesque town of St. Moritz.
Upon reaching our hotel, Waldhaus Am See, we settled in and enjoyed a delicious dinner. Despite the late hour of nine o'clock, we were eager to take a leisurely stroll and discover the charms of downtown St. Moritz.
To our surprise, we quickly realized that everything seemed to be closed ☹. Even finding a cafe that was open proved to be a challenge. As we wandered through the streets, we couldn't help but be out of breath, since it’s almost 7,000 feet high.
In hindsight, we regretted not taking advantage of the escalators, as we were unaware of their existence at the time – you’ll see this – it’s a riot when we learn how we goofed! Nevertheless, we continued our exploration, soaking in the unique atmosphere of the town even in the quiet of the night.
