We present the testimonies of 12 women and men with diverse migrant backgrounds and their educational, professional, and personal experience in Spain, Italy and Greece.

Within the reality of a complex and plural European society, the role of education is fundamental for social cohesion and inclusion within the framework of the common values of the European Union. Early School Leaving is a concern and priority at European level, with particularly high rates among migrant pupils. Having diverse and inspiring role models in the educational curricula and materials is a factor that can have a positive influence on the permanence in school of students at higher risk of Early School Leaving.
