DC Animation has consistently been a beloved medium for adapting classic DC Comics stories. Series such as Batman: The Animated Series, Justice League Unlimited, Teen Titans, Young Justice, and Batman Beyond have emerged as some of the most popular DC cartoons. However, as time has passed, there seems to be a noticeable decline in the overall quality of DC Animation. The current DC Animated Movie Universe, known as the TomorrowVerse, is expected to conclude with the Justice League: Crisis on Infinite Earths trilogy in 2024. Inspired by DC Comics source material, this trilogy will feature a wide array of characters from the DCU multiverse, including Batman, Superman, The Flash, Wonder Woman, Green Lantern, and many more. The closure of this universe is likely due to the emergence of James Gunn's DCU and its highly interconnected nature, marking a departure from the structure of the DCEU.
