On August 31st, RA, fabric and Jägermeister hosted SAVETHENIGHT 2023, an afternoon of panel conversations followed by a party.

We brought together some of the most important voices in London's dance music scene to discuss the challenges facing the industry today—booking fees, the staying power of venues, accessibility and more—and how best to move forward.

In this conversation, journalist Chal Ravens spoke to fabric's Judy Griffith, Venue MOT's Kit Seymour, The Cause's Stuart Glen and Saoirse. The group discussed the staying power of dance music venues, looking at what it takes to run a successful, long-standing club; what the biggest obstacles are for London venues right now; and the habits of the next generation of clubbers.
