Lockdown is a real term for me. I'm a very social person and thrive in collaborative group situations. Being separated and isolated away from people has not been real good for the ole mind and body of Lloyd. What's helped is that I have been turning to writing music a lot. This song is easily the most relevant and hopefully communicates the combination of lunacy, captivity as well as the remote connection that I been feeling these past weeks. I really couldn't do much else until I got it out there. Things were a little slower seeing as though I had to run with a skeleton crew (i.e. just me) on the making of it but I really enjoyed the process and learned a ton. I did get to team back up with Choco on this one and man did that feel great. Shout out to him on always making these songs sound authentic and real. As always, but I think especially on this one, huge shout out to my wife and lockdown partner Josie. We been going through this whole thing together so she hadda make it in the video.

I hope this one brings you a lil something you can bang in your speakers until we all get through this.
