The final highlight on the fabric of this painting is really just the top of the iceberg, or the frosting on the cake, as it were. I wax lyrical about the meditation of actually seeing not what we think we see, but forcing ourselves to be honest with our eyes. And I also talk about the two times I tried to stop painting and how I failed miserably, kicking off a Dark Night of the Soul experience for several years and how being super weird saved me.
