GOLDBOY Japanese director KanekoShusuke and actor OkadaMasaki met the audience after the screening and engaged in interactive exchanges with fans at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre.

Kaneko mentioned that the story originated from a Chinese novel and certain adaptations had to be made to fit into the Japanese culture and environment. Playing a merciless murderer, Okada said his character is very intricate and complex, and it is not an easy task to portray the role well. He thanked his three young co-actors for their collaborations. Okada’s remarkable performance also received compliments from the audience.
