In a significant development, the Chandrayaan-3 spacecraft has reached India's spaceport, the Satish Dhawan Space Centre, in Andhra Pradesh's Sriharikota
It is the third mission to explore the moon by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and is scheduled to launch on July 12th. Chandrayaan-3 will be launched using the Launch Vehicle Mark-III (LVM3) rocket, which has previously completed five successful orbital flights, including two commercial missions.
The mission, carries a significant price tag of Rs 600 crore. Although not the costliest mission undertaken by ISRO (Chandrayaan-2 had a higher cost at Rs 960 crore), Chandrayaan-3 is posing notable challenges for India's space agency. The mission represents a complex endeavor and is anticipated to be a demanding undertaking for ISRO.
ISRO is spending a massive amount of Rs 600 crore for the Chandrayaan-3 mission, Although this cost is not the highest compared to the previous Chandrayaan-2 mission, which was Rs 960 crore, Chandrayaan-3 is proving to be the most challenging mission for India's space agency so far
