I think this song is really special. In my opinion it's one of the simplest and most beautiful things I've ever written.

I wanted this to feel like you were napping in a sunbeam, as the trees peacefully rustle overhead.

I've been having fun seeing how much I can do with just one instrument and vocals, and I'm really pleased with how this one came together. Just having the acoustic guitar and the vocals carry the song was a fun challenge.

It's interesting, when things are stripped back the song really relies on the "heart" behind it, and the tone quality of what few components there are.

Speaking of which, I tried a new mic-ing technique with the acoustic guitar and I think it ended up sounding really nice 😊
