After working with DJ Snake, Slowbody and Aazar, Yellow Claw and Barong Family continue their French connection with release of Bellorum’s My World EP. The DJ/producer from Noisy-le- Grand (halfway between Paris and Disneyland) delivers a grand noise across four tracks, ranging from orchestral to 8-bit sounds across cutting-edge trap beats. The EP starts with an incredible symphonic overture, after which the title track breaks down into a track that recalls the hardest dubstep tracks of the early 2010s. Bellorum reunites with his friend Aazar for the appropriately titled trap banger ‘Back Home’, before switching lanes with ‘Barely’. A collaboration with Lisbon-based producer Holly, the track incorporates hardstyle influences as well as old school video game music. Finally, the melodic ‘Look at Me’ allows for beaming rays of sunshine to enter Bellorum’s world.
