"Stop Draggin' My Car Around", a parody of "Stop Draggin' My Heart Around" by Stevie Nicks and Tom Petty, was a song released on Al's first album in 1983. There were three demo versions recorded over 1981, this being the second of those, recorded in late August 1981. I couldn't find much info on any of these demos, Al and Jon "Bermuda" Schwartz are presumably playing on it, but I haven't been able to confirm anyone else. This particular take was released on Dr. Demento's Basement Tapes No. 10 in 2002
