E23 is napping on the rails and we get a zoom in on him/her. Then s/he gets up and moves a stick to the rails. How cute is that? While sitting up we see the clown feet coming and E gives us a look right into the cam. E face plants right before F23 arrives with a live fish. E23 does a nice PS over the nest and then Mom starts feeding E the fish. When there's a break in the feeding E uses the fish as a pillow to rest its head. Then E makes an attempt to nibble on the fish, but E's too little to break into the slippery skin. But, E is already learning to hold the fish down with its foot. Good job E. Then E23 discovers the open end and does get a few nibbles. E keeps trying and then Mom grabs the fish from under his/her foot and feeds E some more bites. After the meal is over and E is stretched out and resting, the cam op zooms in on E and we get a close look at the pin feathers growing in on his/her wings. E23 is coming along!
