Arthur M Anderson – Built in 1952 as a bulk carrier by American Shipbuilding Co., Lorain, OH, lengthened 120’ in 1975, converted to a self-unloader in 1982 by Fraser Shipyards, Superior, WI. She’s 767’ in length, 70’ in beam with a capacity of 25,300 tons. She is still using a Westinghouse Electric Corp turbine, developing 7,700 bhp for power and turning one propeller.
