The two songs preceding The Vigil are just terribly bland. Moon Crazy has a livelier outro of about one minute, but overall, this could be just anybody doing music by the numbers.
The Vigil has a more dated sound and seems to refer to some of their traditional occult fare, but it brings back one of the prized ingredients of yore: the unexpected turns the music took in a BOC song.
