Through the unique jockeying done by Columbia in re-organizing the song list, Imaginos migrated from the second position, to the complete rear end of things.
Like I said, it's the second song on the album that isn't sung by any of the three main vocalsits of BOC. The so-called Albert Bouchard demo available here on YouTube is sung by Albert. This final version isn't. It is sung by Jon Rogers.
As a last bit of trivia, Columbia brought in BOC's new keyboard player, Tommy Zvoncheck, to re-record the parts originally played by Tommy Mandel on the demos, which helped them assert that a given amount of recordings was done by BOC members.
