We as speech-language pathologists are overworked and overstressed. There's not enough time to do everything we have to do. But what if we're over-complicating it? You don't need a new, flashy therapy activity for every session with every child. You can work on speech and language therapy targets "on the fly" during simple activities.

Using this "no therapy materials" approach to therapy will free up a ton of your time because you won't be trying to prep and plan elaborate therapy activities for every session. Plus, your therapy will be more engaging and motivating because it will be led by your client and it will follow their interests.
