Pacific Northwest Ballet Principal dancers Elle Macy and James Kirby Rogers are performing the lead roles in Swan Lake this weekend. This 3-hour marathon of a ballet is incredibly difficult both physically and mentally, so we asked what they think about when things get hard.

This will be their first time partnership in a full-length ballet: you can see Elle and James as Odette/Odile and Prince Siegfried on Sat, 2/3 at 1pm and Sat, 2/10 at 1pm.
