M15 & F23 spent about 1 1/2 hours at the nest this morning, adding 4 sticks plus grasses. They mated and then headed south across the road to eat, look for more sticks and/or secure their territory. While we waited for their possible return, a Red-headed Woodpecker stored acorns in the pasture snag, a Palm Warbler hunted for bugs in the oak tree and ground and the resident horses grazed by the pasture pond.
