Gabby has been incubating NE29 when Beau arrives very early this morning to the Wallenda branch. She takes that opportunity for a break and goes to the cam pole branch. She stays just a few minutes and then it's back to the nest. About a half hour later she takes another break to the cam pole, only staying a short time, and then back to the nest again. A little under an hour later Gabby takes another break to the cam pole, and stays for some preening time. After some more incubating she takes one more break. This time she goes to the Wallenda branch near Beau. It seemed she showed mating signals and Beau made an attempt, but he did not mate with Gabby this time. He moves to a different branch and Gabby goes back to the nest. About 15 minutes later Gabby flies out and Beau follows her. A little less than an hour later Gabby is back at the nest and Beau had followed her in, landing on the Wallenda branch and then moving to the lookout branch. Abut 10 minutes later Gabby moves to the Wallenda branch and they start a conversation for several minutes until Gabby moves back to the nest. She only stays about 10 minutes before leaving, with Beau following. Shes back to the nest in about 10 minutes and Beau is back on the lookout branch. About a half hour later she's back, and this time Beau stayed on the lookout branch. After about 20 minutes Gabby moves to the Wallenda branch, and Beau moves to a Wallenda branch too. They stay about 10 minutes, perching, rousing and chatting. Gabby flies out and Beau follows her, but this time she comes back to the nest a couple of minutes later, but Beau was not following her. A while later Gabby takes off for a quick round trip, and back to incubating. About 15 minutes later Gabby moves to the lookout branch and calls out. She spends about 5 minutes there, then about 5 minutes back on the nest, and then she moves to the Wallenda branch for another few minutes, and then back to the nest. Around noon she's back on the Wallenda branch for a short time, to call out, and then back to the nest. This time she stays over a couple of hours before taking a short break and returning to the nest. She takes several more short breaks through the afternoon, returning for the last time early evening, and this time she's here to stay. Beau hadn't followed her back since the morning.
