OF COURSE IT WAS ANOTHER CLOSE ONE. The Minnesota Vikings held on for a 27-22 victory over the New York Jets, Mike White, and Greg "The Leg" Zuerlein. The week 13 win takes Minnesota to 10-2. The team can clinch the NFC North next week in Detroit with a win over the Lions (who looked fucking awesome in a win against Jacksonville, so don't count those chickens quite yet).

Dalvin Cook and Alexander Mattison rushed for second-quarter touchdowns and Greg Joseph made his two field goals (!) and three extra points for the Vikings, who took a 20-3 second-quarter lead. But that tricky third quarter only netted them 10 yards on three possessions. Suddenly a blowout had become a nail biter. Surprise, surprise. Justin Jefferson's touchdown catch with 8:33 left gave the Vikings a large enough lead to hang on, despite a relentless rally by the New York Jets on Sunday.

The driving force behind the New York Jets' comeback was Mike White, who again played in place of whiny MILF hunter Zach Wilson. White was picked off twice, but went 31 of 57 for 369 (nice) yards in his second start this season. White also scored on a fourth-and-goal sneak from the 1. Thank god for replay review. But five minutes later, the Jets opted for consecutive passes from the 1, but Braxton Berrios bobbled White's 4th and 1 pass, and the ball hit the turf.

The Jets had all three timeouts, and got the ball right back at the Minnesota 43, but the Jets ran out of steam, and Cam Bynum picked off White with 10 seconds remaining to end the game.

With a formidable four-man rush led by Quinnen Williams, and sticky coverage from Sauce Gardner, the Jets' top 10 defense knocked around the Vikings all afternoon. Kirk Cousins finished 21 of 35 for 173 yards, but delivered clutch completions under pressure, and while getting repeatedly smacked.

Jefferson was getting hit all day, too. He made an over-the-middle catch before Jordan Whitehead tagged him with a hit that got flagged for unnecessary roughness, and Cook scored on the next play. Then on third-and-6 from the 10, Cousins looked off his first three options before firing a pass from the far hash to an out-breaking Jefferson for the toe-tap catch and a 27-15 lead.
